Ideas and Resources A - Small display

Your display doesn't have to be large or have a lot on it to get the message across. This group of 'friends' is only jusr a little larger than the nightlight they are supporting together - the message is 'working together '.

This group would also link into 'Trinity' and other 'Father, Son, Holy Spirit' themes. Possible use at Pentecost, World Church Sunday, Church Anniversary etc

Father, look upon us and hold us in your embrace
Son, be there to teach us and keep us in your grace,
Spirit, give us courage and help us run the race.
Amen

Ideas and resources B - Simplicity

Sometimes the very simplicity of an item creates more than you would imagine.
This cross outline is the base used by florists to build up funeral flowers and not very expensive at all. It can be left as you see it now or have ribbons wrapped around, or plaited through, items can be tied to it, a palm cross could be threaded through to hang at the centre.

Here it is used very simply with shells for pilgrimage, also a glass boat for journeying, A broken heart image mended. and a lonely sheep waiting to be found. Lots of individual messages linked to the cross.

Sometimes you just simply cannot improve on what God supplies you with! If I hadn't seen this sky with my own eyes I would not have believed this colour could be real and I would have expected to see a note explaining which fancy filters had been used; but no, it was taken very quickly in a car park with an ordinary digital camera on returning home from the south coast one evening and cries out to be used as a powerpoint background with simple text in white on it.
