Creative Spirit

This website was a new venture for me in 2009 and will evolve as I, and you add to it. I hope it will inspire you in your worship to be creative both in your displays around your worship area and in your prayers. I promised to create a book - this is still in its infancy but will happen one day. Within the pages of this site you will gradually find prayer, ideas how to enhance your worship through display, dance, music, and links to other useful websites. I would hope that you will also let me know of anything you find useful along the way so that we can work together in worship.

 

I have been leading workshops and creating displays to enhance worship for over 11 years. Encouraged by Womens' Network in the Methodist Church and my Minister Rev.d Heather Noel Smith.

My ministry is not traditional, nor is it revolutionary, it is creative. I try, to use a variation of an old quote 'to reach those parts other ministries cannot reach' through hands on creativity.
This does not mean always painting, always singing, always dancing, always anything, but by using a variety of ways, tailor made to the audience/congregation/group, getting the message across.
By letting you be the worship, and create the worship, rather than just sitting listening, you get more from it.

New resources will be added as I find and create them. So do keep checking in.

I hope you enjoy the site, but bear with me, I'm still learning this area of creativity!
